May I offer you a poem, Mademoiselle?

Morning Glory

Alone stirring in my despair,

Restless fears would never cease.

Pining for hope, which seemed so rare,

You uprooted me with peace.

Softly like snow-on-the-mountain,

Airy like love-in-a-mist,

You gently nurtured me with care

Like petals by dawn's light kiss'd.

The glow of your skin, carnation-

A Venus, your looks entice-

Cute as a black-eyed susan-

My own bird of paradise.

For one so sweet and innocent

To arouse me from my death!

You show'r me with "forget-me-not's"

And whisper in baby's breath.

A rose sun blossoms in the sky,

The start of a new story.

It feels so good to be alive,

Thanks to my morning glory!

Very well done, great flow. So did you work at a nursery in your younger days? If I counted right, 8 varieties. Nice line: and whisper in baby's breath.
