One thing you may want to do first is the Viper Manor sequence in Another World before taking on any of the dragons. That'll get you Karsh's L.7 technique, a Forget-me-not Pot, and you can finish the Mastermune quest (see White Dragon) any time before the Black Dragon without having to travel back and forth. Also, I'll be noting when you can grab some strong monsters for Sprigg's monster list; you'll need it to get Janice in the Green Dragon segment.
