Hope everyone has fun in answering. Thank you for your time as I'm curious how many know the answer

Of what signifiance was the Forget Me Not Flower during WWII?
It was used in Germany by Freemasons as a means of recognition.
Reply:Also the Society of Blue Friars has adopted this as their 'logo'. Report It

Reply:The flower is used to remember soldiers from World War 1.
Reply:The flower (because its so small) was often sent to GI's who had been away for a lengthy period of time by their wives or girlfriends as a way for the soldiers to remember them by.

"Forget Me Not!" (Don't forget me.)
Reply:The unknown soldiers killed in battle?
Reply:Marvin, I saw a post where you help the Lakota people. We have been trying to find out where to send clothes and coats. I live in Oklahoma and sure would like to send some things up there!!! Could you e-mail me if you know???? Or, put it in your post and I'll check it!!!!
Reply:I believe it had something to do with Hitler wanted the masons killed as well as the Jews. The pin was created as a new means of recognition not associated with the square and compass. There are many members who still wear them today.
